Our goal is to make connections using our prior knowledge and to build on these connections. Additionally, our goal is to strengthen our mental math skills as well as refine our estimating skills. We will accomplish these goals through in-class instruction, various in-class examples and practice, math games and activities, and hands-on learning using math manipulatives.
Grade eight students will pass a divisional Math exam at the end of the year.
